Bybrook trained Peter Blake qualified to compete for Great Britain in the ITU World Championship in Mexico in the summer of 2016.
Peter then raced in Mexico at the ITU World Championship in September 2016 under extreme humidity and hot temperatures on the same day on the same course that the Brownlee Brothers raced and Johnny Brownlee collapsed under the conditions.
We are absolutely delighted and so proud of Peter who finished 5th GB athlete out of 12 GB athletes that raced in his age group. A truly outstanding performance!
Peter undertook an intense and specific training programme with Bybrook to make the shift from Iron distance triathlon to Olympic distance and achieved the ultimate reward and not only qualified to compete for his Country but absolutely smashed his race under extreme conditions at the World Championships. It doesn’t get any better than this!
